You grant The Human Line Project a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable,royalty‑free, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish,distribute and create derivative works from the submitted content(“Content”) for any purpose, including academic research, datasetpublication, machine‑learning model development and commercial products orservices. You irrevocably waive your moral rights in the Content to the fullest extentpermitted under the Canadian Copyright Act.
By ticking the consent box on the submission form you providemeaningful, explicit consent under section 4.3 of PIPEDA to thecollection, use, worldwide disclosure and permanent republication of anypersonal or sensitive information in your submission for the purposesdescribed in this Agreement. You acknowledge that once published such datacannot be reliably deleted or recalled.
Your submission is stored on Canadian servers. For research integrity andopen‑science purposes, the dataset (or parts of it) may later be hosted ormirrored on servers in other countries. Those copies will be governed by theprivacy and access laws of their respective jurisdictions, and foreignauthorities may obtain lawful access without notice to you or to us.
We retain personal information only as long as needed for research and legalcompliance. When it is no longer necessary, identifying details are deletedor irreversibly anonymised; de‑identified data may be retained indefinitely.You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data at anytime before public release. After release, deletion is no longerpossible.

The Content is provided “AS IS”. Liability is limited to the maximum extentpermitted by the laws of Canada. Any dispute arising from this Agreementshall be resolved in a Canadian court of competent jurisdiction.
